Over 500 individuals from Andhra Pradesh, who were stranded due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia, have safely returned to the state. The Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society significantly aided in repatriating nearly 400 affected travelers, as confirmed by society president, Ravi Vemuru.

The majority of these passengers were either on temporary visas or were transit passengers in Gulf countries. Many stranded individuals found their way back via commercial flights, whereas a handful were assisted by the society through direct flights and transit arrangements from countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman.

A small group of pastors remains stranded due to travel restrictions. Authorities are seeking solutions to relocate them, potentially through Saudi Arabia. Essential workers in the oil and gas industry, as well as government employees, remain in the Gulf due to their critical roles.
