Trump's Immigration Policy Approval Hits New Low Amid Declining Male Support
Approval of Donald Trump's immigration policies has dropped to its lowest since his return to office. A recent poll indicates that his support has particularly declined among American men. Trump's administration recently agreed to end a controversial deportation surge in Minnesota following public protests.
Donald Trump's immigration policies are witnessing a sharp dip in public approval, dropping to the lowest levels since his return to office, with American men increasingly disapproving, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
Only 38% approve of Trump's immigration actions, down from 39% in January, a stark contrast to the 50% approval ratings shortly after his re-election. Despite his immigration agenda being pivotal to his campaign, recent actions, including large-scale deportation efforts and aggressive immigration raids, have faced significant backlash.
The poll highlights Trump's waning support from male voters, who were instrumental in his 2024 victory. Male approval decreased to 41%, from nearly 50% earlier. The administration recently reversed a deportation surge in Minnesota amid protests. Trump's overall approval now hovers at a minimal 38%.
