Haryana Youth Congress Clashes with Police over Job Disparities

The Youth Congress staged a fiery protest in Panchkula, alleging that the BJP government is failing to defend the employment interests of Haryana's youth. Demonstrators attempted to storm the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) office, leading to police deploying water cannons.

Senior Congress figures, including Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda and Ambala MP Varun Chaudhary, were temporarily detained during the heated demonstration. The protesters aimed to highlight concerns over job allocations, alleging that a large portion of opportunities are unfairly awarded to candidates from outside Haryana.

Calling the HPSC a 'rejection commission,' the protesters expressed frustration over unfilled positions in government jobs. Hooda criticized the current administration for leaving many posts vacant and not ensuring they go to Haryana's youth, emphasizing their dedication to protecting local interests.
