In a recent viral video, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar is seen 'intervening' in a roadside dispute in Alibag. However, Narwekar insists he had no involvement, stating that he only advised the locals to resolve their conflict peacefully.

The video, shared by Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, shows a tense interaction involving land ownership. Raut alleged that government officials were wrongfully measuring land during a family wedding, claiming, 'You are snatching our land.'

The incident occurs against the backdrop of Alibag's booming real estate market, favored by Bollywood celebrities and industrialists. Narwekar maintains he was merely passing by and offered guidance without any intent to intervene in the dispute.
