The Delhi Police issued a firm rebuttal on Monday against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's allegations of harassment towards SIR-affected families in the capital.
According to Delhi Police Special Commissioner Devesh Chandra Srivastav, the security presence outside Banga Bhawan was a measure aligned with Banerjee's Z+ security needs, and at no point did officers enter the premises.
Officials clarified that comprehensive security arrangements were coordinated with the West Bengal Police, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining order during high-profile visits amidst the Parliamentary Budget session.
