In response to underwhelming performances in civic polls, the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi are strategizing a unified front in the forthcoming Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis elections within Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve announced positive conversations, revealing that agreements have been reached in seven out of nine talukas. Both the Congress and Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena (UBT), along with Prakash Ambedkar-led Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, had previously competed separately, achieving limited success.
Despite previous election setbacks, these parties are setting their sights on 63 seats in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar ZP and 126 seats of Panchayat Samiti, prioritizing candidate winnability. Danve also urged the NCP (SP) to join forces to challenge the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP alliance.
