Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has expressed firm support for the Marathi community following the BJP-Shiv Sena's successful sweep of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. Thackeray warned those in power against exploiting their position to target Marathi people, emphasizing his commitment to standing with them in challenging times.

In a post on X, Thackeray congratulated the elected corporators from both MNS and Shiv Sena for their commendable performance against opponents wielding significant financial influence. Despite electoral setbacks, he praised MNS workers for their resilience and determination to fight for the Marathi cause.

Addressing the party's defeat, Thackeray reassured supporters that MNS would remain vigilant, ensuring the Marathi community's interests are safeguarded.
