SGPC Condemns Alleged Remarks by AAP's Atishi: A Political Storm Unfolds

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has expressed strong disapproval towards AAP leader Atishi over alleged derogatory comments about Sikh Gurus. During a meeting chaired by SGPC's President Harjinder Singh Dhami, a resolution was passed condemning the remarks made during the recent Winter Session of the Delhi Assembly.
According to SGPC, Atishi's statements hurt Sikh sentiments and have sparked a significant political controversy. Dhami confirmed that legal action would be pursued against Atishi, escalating tensions between political parties in both Delhi and Punjab.
Reacting to the allegations, Atishi accused the BJP of playing divisive politics. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered concerning a tampered video clip of her remarks, and the Delhi Assembly has demanded explanations from Punjab Police regarding the incident.
