Uddhav Thackeray, the chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), and Raj Thackeray, the president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), continue to ignite curiosity over a possible political alliance as they met for the fifth time this month.
The meetings coincide with family gatherings, marked by their presence at the Bhaubeej festival celebration hosted by Raj's sister, Jaijaywanti. Previously, Uddhav visited Raj's residence to wish Raj’s mother, Kunda Thackeray, on her birthday.
Despite their past differences since Raj's departure from the Shiv Sena in 2005, the leaders appear keen to forge a united front. As Maharashtra gears up for its local body elections, their unity signals potential political strategic alignments.
