The opposition CPI(M) in Tripura is gearing up for an eight-day protest, starting October 24, pressing for the resignation of Fisheries Minister Sudhanghsu Das for allegedly admitting to bribery.
CPI(M) state secretary, Jitendra Chaudhury, condemned the minister's confessed misconduct and criticized widespread corruption in the state.
Additionally, the party demands immediate arrests in connection with the seizure of over 90,000 bottles of banned cough syrup and justice for a child's murder case.
