Farewell to a Brave Soldier: Naik Sushil Kumar's Last Journey

In a heartfelt farewell, Naik Sushil Kumar's funeral was held in his hometown of Panyala, in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur district, after his untimely death during official duty in Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday, his son ignited the pyre, surrounded by military personnel and local residents.
Kumar, who served in the 13th Dogra Regiment, tragically passed away after feeling dizzy and suffering a head injury during his duties in Faizabad. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries in the evening.
Himachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri offered their condolences. They assured Kumar's grieving family of the government's unwavering support, pledging all necessary assistance during this difficult time.
