The video, circulated on social media, alleged that a woman from the Kushwaha community was molested and murdered, despite police complaints being filed. However, thorough police investigations disproved these claims. Circle Officer Yogendra Krishna Narayan confirmed that the video was misleading.
Legal action against Gautam is proceeding as per the law. He has recently resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and joined Congress in 2024. The case underlines issues of misinformation and its potential impact on social harmony.
