Early on Thursday, a Russian airstrike ignited multiple fires in an apartment complex in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro, according to local officials.
The regional governor, Oleksandr Ganzha, reported on Telegram that the attack injured seven people, among them two children, and necessitated hospitalization for five individuals, including nine and 14-year-old girls.
Online images shared by Ganzha illustrated several apartments engulfed in flames, with emergency teams utilizing extendable ladders and buckets to contain the fire. The attack also set ablaze a store and multiple vehicles in the area.
