Operation Mule Hunt Dismantles Cyber Fraud Network

In a significant breakthrough against cybercrime, police have arrested 38 individuals involved in a sprawling nationwide fraud network as part of 'Operation Mule Hunt'. The operation revealed scams amounting to over Rs 10 crore, with Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar leading the crackdown.
Over the past 15 days, arrests were made across different areas of the Dungarpur district, targeting those involved in online fraud cases nationwide. The suspects confessed to defrauding people of crores, operating from various domestic and international locations, including Dubai.
Among the items seized were 73 mobile phones, 136 SIM cards, a luxury jeep, and several electronic devices. Authorities have registered 17 cases and continue to scrutinize bank accounts tied to the accused. Officials caution the public to guard against revealing personal information like bank account details over calls or apps.
