In a shocking series of events, a man identified as Mobin Sheikh, allegedly responsible for the murder of his wife, was found dead, presumed to have taken his own life. The grisly incident unfolded in Banda's Bagheta village, Uttar Pradesh, where police say an axe was used during a domestic altercation leading to the wife's death.
Following the tragic occurrence, Sheikh, 45, disappeared, only to be discovered the following Monday hanging from a tree in a field in nearby Gauri Khanpur village. Additional Superintendent of Police, Shiv Raj, confirmed the identification of the body and indicated that preliminary investigations pointed towards suicide.
Law enforcement agencies have initiated a thorough investigation to piece together the events that culminated in this double tragedy.
