Iran's armed forces have declared readiness to deliver an "immediate and decisive response" to any renewed hostility from its adversaries, stated a senior Iranian military commander, as reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
The current two-week ceasefire between Iran and the United States is set to conclude on Wednesday. Both nations have traded accusations of ceasefire violations, heightening control over Gulf maritime movements.
Ali Abdollahi, the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, asserted that Tehran maintains strategic military dominance in the regional theater, including the Strait of Hormuz, and is determined to counter any false narratives from the U.S. president regarding the situation.
