Mexico's economy minister, Marcelo Ebrard, confirmed that formal negotiations to revisit the US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement, known as the USMCA, are set to start during the week of May 25.

The announcement came after a meeting with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, where insights from the U.S. side were discussed.

This latest round marks the second phase of talks, following preliminary discussions in Washington last month.
