A tragic feud over agricultural produce between brothers in Mirzapura Jagir village resulted in the deaths of two siblings, police reported. The confrontation unfolded in their farmland between 5 and 6 pm under Rampura police jurisdiction.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police Ishan Soni, a quarrel erupted among three brothers—Kailash (45), Jitendra alias Allu (33), and Guddu (26)—over grain sharing. The conflict turned deadly when Jitendra allegedly shot Kailash with a makeshift pistol, killing him immediately.

The deadly act spurred their father, Jaynarayan Chaturvedi, and Guddu to retaliate against Jitendra, beating him to death with sticks. Law enforcement swiftly intervened, and authorities, including the Additional SP, assessed the situation on the ground. Both Jaynarayan and Guddu have been detained, and the bodies moved for post-mortem examination.
