Authorities reported that the victim, Madho Ram, was found with multiple stab wounds in his residence near Mandir Marg.
The suspects, Azad alias Jaaju and his wife Rubina, were apprehended within 24 hours of the incident, according to the police. The gruesome discovery was made after a PCR call led officers to the crime scene, where forensic analysis and CCTV footage helped identify the culprits quickly.
During police interrogation, Azad admitted to seeking financial help from the victim, which led to an altercation and subsequently the murder.
