ED Raids: Punjab Minister and Alleged Bookie Under Investigation
The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches at the premises of Punjab industries minister Sanjeev Arora and others in an ongoing investigation. The raids involved residences linked to Arora and his son, and an alleged bookie, Chandrasekhar Aggarwal. The ED suspects misuse of industrial land, similar to a previous investigation in 2024.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches on Friday at the homes and offices of Punjab industries minister Sanjeev Arora, his son Kavya Arora, and others, according to officials.
The raids took place at their premises, including those linked to a company called Hampton Sky Realty Ltd., as well as at the home of alleged bookie Chandrasekhar Aggarwal in Jalandhar.
Central paramilitary forces provided security during the operation. Arora, who is said to be traveling abroad for official purposes, was previously investigated by the ED in 2024 for alleged misuse of industrial land.
