Russia's Devastating Overnight Strikes on Ukraine

Russia unleashed a barrage of missile and drone attacks on several Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kyiv, causing significant casualties and damage. Thirteen people, including a child, were killed, and many were injured, according to officials.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the death toll, noting that further devastation occurred in Odesa and Dnipro, where attacks ignited residential buildings. Klitschko highlighted that 45 Kyiv residents were injured, and further attacks early Thursday struck an 18-storey building.
In Odesa, seven people perished, while infrastructure and residential areas suffered extensive damage, according to local military head Serhiy Lysak. Dnipro's Governor Oleksandr Ganzha reported two deaths and significant injuries. The northern city of Kharkiv also reported injuries amid drone strikes.
