Excise Officials Attacked During Drug Bust: Case Registered in Chirayinkeezhu
A case has been registered against Agarus, Agasi, and Jyothsan for allegedly assaulting Excise officials during a drug search in Chirayinkeezhu. The officials, Aromal, Sharan, and Gokul, were attacked while investigating a residence for MDMA. The suspects were subdued and taken to a police station.

In a dramatic turn of events, a case has been registered following an assault on Excise officials during a drug raid in Chirayinkeezhu. Three officials were injured when they were attacked by suspects during a search for MDMA at a local residence.
The incident unfolded when the Excise Enforcement and Narcotic Special Squad arrived at the house of Agarus, known for his involvement in various criminal cases. During the raid, Agarus allegedly tried to flee but was blocked by officer Aromal. Agarus reportedly retaliated by assaulting and biting the official.
Supporting officers Sharan and Gokul also faced aggression from suspects Agasi and Jyothsan. Despite the altercation, the officers successfully detained the trio, who were later moved to a police station. The injured officials received medical attention and are now recovering. A formal investigation has commenced based on a complaint filed by Aromal.
