Police have registered nine cases involving allegations of attempted religious conversion and sexual harassment at a Nashik-based IT firm, raising serious concerns about workplace conduct. Seven male employees and two females stand accused, suggesting coordinated misconduct.
Nashik Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik has confirmed ongoing investigations, involving agencies such as SID, ATS, and NIA, to explore any potential extremist connections. Notably, one female accused has been remanded to judicial custody till April 28.
The allegations emerged after a special investigation team engaged with multiple victims, who confirmed pervasive misconduct by senior colleagues. Tata Sons chairman expressed distress about the claims, promising a thorough internal probe led by TCS's Chief Operating Officer Arathi Subramanian.
