NCW Probes Sexual Harassment Claims at TCS BPO in Maharashtra
The National Commission for Women has launched an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment at a Tata Consultancy Services BPO in Nashik. A fact-finding committee will visit the site to examine the claims and suggest remedial actions. The report is expected to be submitted within 10 days.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has initiated a probe into alleged sexual harassment at Tata Consultancy Services' BPO unit in Nashik, Maharashtra. The Commission announced that a specialized panel will conduct an on-site investigation on April 18.
Retired Bombay High Court Justice Sadhna Jadhav, along with former Haryana DGP B K Sinha and Supreme Court advocate Monika Arora, lead the investigation, backed by NCW Senior Coordinator Lilabati. Tasked with examining the workplace environment and interactions with victims, the committee will seek to uncover lapses and recommend actions.
The investigation follows alarming allegations that include instances of sexual harassment, rape, and forced religious conversion. The committee aims to submit its findings to the NCW within ten working days, earlier shared full detail with involved parties to prevent future incidents and ensure women's safety at work.
