Notices have been served to technology firms including Meta India, Google, and X, pressing for the formulation of a robust framework to manage AI-generated videos and photographs effectively.
The court has emphasized the importance of compliant and timely actions from digital intermediaries, aligning with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The initiation includes onboarding these platforms onto the Sahyog portal for better coordination in removing unlawful content.
