Tribal Jirga Tragedy: Six Killed in Pakistan Shooting

In a tragic incident this week, a gunman attacked a gathering of tribal elders in northwest Pakistan, resulting in six fatalities and two injuries. This brutal act occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Dera Ismail Khan district.
The meeting aimed to resolve a conflict involving a stolen motorcycle with a suspect named Zulfiqar Marwat. During the conflict, Marwat fired at the jirga members, leading to a tragic loss.
Marwat managed to escape initially, but was later killed in a police operation. Authorities discovered weapons and a motorcycle at the scene, following a shootout with Marwat and his accomplices.
