In a shocking incident near Perumbavoor, an Assam native was allegedly beaten to death by six of his colleagues on suspicion of theft.
According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday morning. All six suspects, also from Assam, are currently in custody and are being interrogated.
The 25-year-old victim worked with the accused at a local plywood company. After the assault, the accused took him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
