Pakistani security forces have successfully neutralized 13 terrorists affiliated with the banned group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in two distinct operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as reported by the military's media wing.
The first operation, an intelligence-based mission conducted in the Bara area of Khyber district, resulted in the death of 10 terrorists. Another operation in the Bannu district led to the elimination of three more individuals engaged in militant activities.
These operations come in the wake of increased terrorist attacks in the region, prompting intensified counter-terrorism initiatives. Recent data from the Centre for Research and Security Studies indicates a surge in violence, with significant fatalities noted in recent years.
