Tragic Lift Accident at Varanasi Madrasa: One Dead, Another Injured

A 22-year-old man, identified as Asif Adil, tragically lost his life, and another, Hasnain Raza, sustained severe injuries in a lift accident at a madrasa in Varanasi. The incident happened late Tuesday night during a community event at the Rewri Talab madrasa.
According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Gaurav Kumar, the two men were in the lift when it abruptly lost control and plummeted to the ground. Adil died instantly, while Raza was rushed to the trauma centre for urgent medical care.
An investigation has been launched to uncover the cause of the accident, with officials examining potential negligence in the lift's maintenance. Authorities have vowed stringent action against those accountable for this tragic event.
