Karnataka's Digital Drive: Census 2027 Self Enumeration Unveiled

The Karnataka government has initiated a campaign to encourage participation in the Census 2027 Self Enumeration process. Citizens are urged to submit their information online between April 1 and April 15, 2026. This digital initiative is poised to simplify the data collection process, according to Siddaramaiah's Office.

An animation video featuring characters Pragati and Vikas has been released to emphasize the importance of accurate and sincere participation. The characters, symbolizing progress and development, appeal to the public to provide their details willingly, as this data plays a crucial role in national planning.

The campaign underscores data confidentiality and security, assuring citizens of a 100% secure process. Field verification by enumerators is set from April 16 to May 15, 2026, to ensure data accuracy. Citizens are encouraged to keep their Self Enumeration ID safe for validation purposes.
