Cross-Border Trafficking Ring Unraveled in Delhi
Two Bangladeshi nationals were arrested in Delhi for human trafficking and illegal stay. The main accused, previously deported, was caught near GTB Nagar Metro Station. Investigations revealed the illegal entry of several women into India. The police discovered illicit communication apps and identity documents on the accused’s phones.

In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police apprehended two Bangladeshi nationals involved in human trafficking and residing illegally in India. Acting on a tip-off, officers trapped the main suspect near GTB Nagar Metro Station, unraveling a cross-border trafficking operation.
The ringleader, identified as Robiul Mulla, had been previously deported from India but managed to re-enter the country without valid documents. Police investigations revealed he facilitated the unlawful entry of multiple women for illicit purposes.
Meanwhile, a female accomplice was also detained. Their smartphones, seized during the investigation, contained banned messaging applications and crucial identity data. Deportation proceedings are underway as authorities continue their efforts to dismantle the network.
