In a sweeping crackdown, the Foreigner Cell of Delhi Police's Outer District has apprehended ten illegal Bangladeshi nationals accused of using fraudulent medical visas. A special operation led to their capture, unveiling their attempts to obtain visas for Bulgaria without valid Indian documentation.
The operation follows extensive verification drives across the district, aiming to unearth illegal immigrants. Equipped with specific intelligence reports, a dedicated police team focused on identifying and intercepting individuals staying without proper legal credentials.
On March 6, officials acted on a tip-off regarding the presence of these suspects near Peeragarhi Chowk, conducting surveillance before making the arrests. When questioned, the detained individuals failed to produce valid identity or travel documents, revealing expired passports and visas. Deportation processes are being coordinated with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office.
