Escalating Tensions: Kremlin Condemns U.S.-Israeli Actions

The Kremlin has strongly condemned what it labels as 'the murder' of Iran's leaders following U.S.-Israeli airstrikes. This reaction comes after confirmation from Iran's Fars news agency that Ali Larijani, a senior adviser, was killed in Tehran.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov reiterated Russia's stance against any threats to the leadership of sovereign nations, especially Iran, a close partner. He called for an immediate ceasefire and urged negotiations in light of the recent escalations.

Despite reports from The Wall Street Journal suggesting increased Russian-Iranian military cooperation, Peskov dismissed such claims as disinformation, urging reliance on official statements from U.S. representatives, who reportedly have no evidence on the matter.
