Man Charged in Thane District for Allegedly Flashing at Minor

A legal case has been initiated against a 28-year-old man in Maharashtra's Thane district following allegations of indecent exposure. The complaint involves a 13-year-old girl, with the incident purportedly occurring on March 14 at a chawl in Bhiwandi.
According to a Shantinagar police statement, the young girl was reportedly standing outside her home when the accused exposed himself to her. The girl's mother promptly lodged the complaint, leading to the registration of the case on Sunday.
The accused has been charged under section 79, which pertains to actions meant to insult a woman's modesty, and applicable sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
