A drone incident occurred in Baghdad's Green Zone, targeting the Al-Rasheed Hotel without resulting in casualties or damage, according to Iraq's interior ministry.
The Green Zone, known for housing government buildings and the U.S. embassy, was the scene of rising fire and smoke as the drone hit the hotel's upper fence.
Condemnations were issued regarding aggressive actions against diplomatic entities. Additionally, security reports indicated two Katyusha rockets were aimed at the U.S. embassy within the same zone.
