State Energy Minister Yogendra Prasad admitted delays caused by vehicle shortages and promised the introduction of a toll-free number for grievances. Concerns about the sluggish pace of paddy procurement and inefficiencies within Primary Agricultural Credit Societies were also tabled.
Food Supply Minister Irfan Ansari acknowledged manpower and location challenges but assured efforts to meet procurement targets. The assembly discussed the suspension of a cooperative official for alleged misappropriation, as demands were made for quality certification labs to support farmers.
