Tragic Discovery: Missing Boy's Body Found in Sikkim Pond
The body of a 14-year-old boy, reported missing, was discovered in a pond in Sikkim's Gangtok district. After the family lodged a complaint, police launched a search operation in the Shantinagar area. The boy was found by divers at 10 feet depth and declared dead at the hospital.

A 14-year-old boy, reported missing from his home in Sikkim's Gangtok district, was tragically found dead in a local pond, according to police sources on Tuesday.
The search commenced immediately after the boy's family filed a complaint at the Singtam Police Station on Monday evening. The search covered the Shantinagar locality and the Rani Khola river belt where a team uncovered a pair of slippers near the pond.
Divers were brought in and eventually located the boy at a depth of ten feet. He was promptly taken to Singtam District Hospital where medical officials pronounced him dead. An unnatural death case has been registered and investigations continue.
