Delhi Police Crackdown: Counterfeit Protein Supplement Racket Exposed

Delhi Police have successfully uncovered a fraudulent scheme involving counterfeit protein supplements in both Delhi and the National Capital Region, resulting in the arrest of two men, officials stated on Sunday.
Identified as Mohit Tiwari and Mohit Dixit, both from northeast Delhi's Brahmpuri locality, the suspects were apprehended on March 6. Law enforcement officials recovered approximately 100 kg of fake nutritional supplements seized alongside over 55 kg of raw materials, confirmed authorities.
The men allegedly manufactured fake protein supplements using ingredients like maltodextrin, cocoa powder, and flavoring agents, packaged under the guise of top brands. Packaging materials and equipment were seized, pointing towards a sophisticated operation. Investigations are actively tracing additional culprits and suppliers within the network.
