From Setback to Success: Wheelchair-Bound Doctor Triumphs in Civil Services

Kerala-based Dr Athira Suguthan, who has been confined to a wheelchair since a devastating road accident a decade ago, has achieved the remarkable feat of securing the 483rd rank in the civil services exam. Her journey exemplifies how determination and grit can transcend physical limitations.

After the accident, Athira faced severe challenges, including memory loss for two years while she was completing her BDS in Bengaluru. Despite doctors' initial grim prognosis, her condition unexpectedly improved, setting her on a remarkable path of recovery and academic triumph.
