Tragic Encounter: Teen Girl's Ordeal in Chengicherla

A shocking case of alleged sexual assault has come to light involving a 16-year-old girl in Chengicherla. The incident reportedly occurred on the night of February 16 when the girl was threatened with a knife and taken to a house by three suspects, including two minors.

The police have apprehended two individuals, one with a history of criminal activities, on February 18. However, a third suspect remains at large. The ordeal began when the victim, acquainted with one of the minors, was reportedly lured into an auto-rickshaw and forced to consume alcohol before the assault.

Authorities launched an investigation following a complaint from the victim's mother on February 17, after the girl failed to return home. The victim was located and rescued on February 18. Police continue their efforts to capture the remaining suspect involved in this grievous crime.
