The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has taken action against a Devaswom official over accused fund misappropriation linked to the notable Sabarimala 'mandala-makaravilakku' festival held last year.
The scandal revolves around 'Adiya Sishtam Ghee', a revered temple offering sold during pilgrimage seasons, where approximately Rs 36.24 lakh in sales reportedly went unaccounted for.
