Alleged Jail Break: Banda Jail Superintendent Under Investigation

A formal complaint has been launched against the suspended superintendent and jailer of Banda district jail concerning the controversial release of Noida-based gangster Ravi Nagar, according to police reports released on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal confirmed the registration of the case under Section 260 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Banda city Kotwali. The complaint was submitted by the in-charge of the jail outpost, leading to the formation of a special investigation team.
This team, led by an additional superintendent of police, is tasked with examining the events surrounding Nagar's unauthorized release. Nagar, notorious in the underground crime scene, leads a criminal syndicate with numerous cases registered against him. The group's offenses span extortion, theft, and significant money laundering activities in the Delhi-NCR area.
