Two individuals suffered gunshot wounds in Brussels following a clash between rival groups, according to the Brussels prosecutor's department. The early Thursday incident underscores the persistent issue of violent crime in the Belgian capital.

Police attended Place de Bethleem in Saint Gilles close to the Gare du Midi Eurostar station at around 0230 GMT on October 30. The scene revealed the two injured victims and gun cartridges scattered nearby, while two suspects were detained. Fortunately, the victims' injuries are not life-threatening.
