Tragic Shooting of BJP Leader Sparks Tension in Madhya Pradesh

In a grievous incident that rattled Kaimor town in Madhya Pradesh, BJP's Backward Class Mandal president Neelu Rajak was tragically shot dead on Tuesday around 11 am by two motorcycle-borne attackers. The murder, linked to an old dispute, prompted immediate police action and led to the apprehension of the accused.
Following the killing, police launched a swift operation, confronting the suspects, Akram Khan and Prince Joseph, in Kajrawara on Tuesday night. After a brief exchange of gunfire, both suspects were injured, arrested, and sent to Jabalpur for medical treatment. The police station's in-charge and a head constable were suspended for dereliction of duty.
The murder sparked tension in Kaimor, causing the administration to impose prohibitory orders. However, as calm returned, these restrictions were lifted. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav condemned the act, stressing no compromise with law and order, and ordered strict action against the criminals involved.
