A devastating Russian bomb strike on a Ukrainian thermal power plant in the eastern city of Sloviansk left three dead and numerous injured, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy revealed on Thursday night.
During his nightly video address, Zelenskiy characterized the attack, taking place in the Donetsk region close to the front lines, as an act of 'strictly terror.' He emphasized that energy infrastructure had been targeted predominantly by Russian drone and missile strikes overnight.
While Reuters was unable to independently verify these details, prosecutors in Donetsk reported further Russian attacks on homes in Kramatorsk, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.
