Tragic Dispute: Neighbourhood Altercation Over Goat Leads to Fatality
A 50-year-old woman, Vikki Devi, tragically died following a neighborhood dispute over a goat entering her house in Chakkhan village, Ballia district. The altercation led to Devi sustaining severe head injuries, and she succumbed during treatment. Police are investigating and pursuing the accused.

A neighborhood dispute in Chakkhan village, Ballia, turned deadly on Wednesday, as a 50-year-old woman named Vikki Devi lost her life over an argument concerning a goat entering her home.
The confrontation escalated after the goat incident, leading to a heated exchange and a physical altercation, during which Devi suffered critical head injuries. She was initially taken to Sikandarpur's Community Health Centre and later transferred to the district hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police, led by Additional Superintendent Dinesh Kumar Shukla, have launched an investigation, taken the body for a post-mortem, and are actively seeking to apprehend the accused involved in the tragic incident.
