A shocking incident has come to light in Faridabad where a 15-year-old girl was reportedly abducted and sexually assaulted by four young men in a car, as police confirmed on Tuesday.
The victim, a class 8 student, was taken hostage on October 26 at around 7 pm and held captive until 4 am the next day, before being abandoned near her residence.
An FIR has been lodged under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Authorities are diligently reviewing CCTV footage to apprehend the suspects, according to SHO Vishnu Mittar.
