M K Das Appointed as Gujarat's New Chief Secretary
The Gujarat government has appointed M K Das as its new chief secretary. Das, an IAS officer from the 1990 batch, will take over from Pankaj Joshi, who is set to retire on October 31. Das is currently the additional chief secretary to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

The Gujarat government announced on Tuesday that M K Das has been appointed as the new chief secretary of the state, following an official notification.
Current chief secretary Pankaj Joshi is scheduled to retire on October 31, paving the way for Das to take over the role.
Das, a seasoned IAS officer of the 1990-batch, has been serving as the additional chief secretary to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, stationed at the Sachivalaya in Gandhinagar.
