In a tragic incident, three policemen, including a senior officer, were killed and another injured in back-to-back explosions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, as officials reported on Friday.

The initial blast targeted the Ghulmina police check-post in Hangue district, sending panic waves across the area. Upon receiving the alert, Superintendent of Police (SP) Operations Asad Zubair led a team to inspect the site.

Tragically, their vehicle was hit by a remote-controlled bomb, resulting in the immediate deaths of SP Zubair and two officers, with another officer critically injured. Security operations are underway to find those accountable, while Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has demanded a detailed report and convened a meeting to examine security measures.
