In a recently updated projection, Germany's council of tax experts announced that the state is expected to collect 33.6 billion euros more in tax revenues from 2025 to 2029 than had been previously forecast in May.
Despite this optimistic outlook for the state as a whole, the federal government anticipates no change in its tax revenue over the five-year period.
These adjustments emerge from careful economic analysis, confirming strategic areas of fiscal growth. As of the update, the euro is exchangeable at 0.8575 against the dollar.
